Ore Bank Road Reconstruction

The reconstruction of Ore Bank Road between US Route 15 and West Siddonsburg Road is tentatively scheduled to begin in the middle of May 2026.  This work is anticipated to be completed by fall of 2026.  The project intends to soften the horizontal curve, widen the roadway, install turning lanes as well as curbing and drainage facilities.  The road will be closed for most of this work and a detour will be posted and utilized.  This project will create a safer travel condition on Ore Bank Road and will ultimately integrate with the roundabout that is currently in the design phase.  We anticipate your patience and cooperation with the road closure.
