NEMA is promoting Senior Preparedness.
We’re encouraging Seniors and their Families/Friends/Neighbors to create a simple plan for leaving their home if this becomes necessary (power outage, heating oil shortage, etc).
As a safety net for those that don’t or can’t plan, NEMA is working on a network of Warming/Cooling Stations that will be available for short term use. These stations would be opened and used only if alternatives are not available.
